Town of Rocktower

Rocktower rest on the border between the Taken Lands of Man and the Tal Free Plains.   It is a major hub of trade between the Tal and human kingdoms.  The town also has a large military presence with various human and Tal military order wearily watching the order.

Town Governance:
The city is governed by a noble family known as the Rockfists vassals of the Crowheart family.  The Rockfists are generally a thoughtful family who tries to keep the peace between the different groups in the town through fairness and strict obedience to the laws.

4 Quarters of Rock Tower.  The Town of Rocktower is organized in 4 different quadrants.

Rock Tower Quarter
 A Rocktower looms above the city. The structure is large and is considered one quarter of the town by itself.  The tower was constructed over a Tal religious temple called Shamek.  The temple of Shamek was made of stone and was easily building to build a military structure ontop of.  The Tal's view the newer military structure as a desecration of their religious heritage and its presence causes consternation between the peoples to this day.  The ruins of Shamek beneath the tower are said to be extensive and include ancient Tal catacombs holding the remains of ancient Tal Shamans.   The Crow Rangers currently control the tower and do not allow access to anyone.  They have agreed to not damage the ruins beneath the temple and keep watch to both keep out Tal worshipers and potential vandals.
There are no businesses in the Rocktower Quarter and entrance to this quarter is forbidden without permission from the Crow Rangers.


Tal Quarter:
A quarter of the Town is sectioned off and Tal peoples are allowed to settle and live here.  This is a bustling part of the city full of human and Tal traders.  Some of the highest Tal Shamans call this quarter home so they can be close to the ruins of Shamek that lye beneath the Rock Tower.

Hammer Quarter
The Hammer Quarter is home to various mining groups and houses the the Rockfist Family.  The quarter also includes home of various highlevel human traders and government officials.   This part of the Quarter includes various retail business geared toward traveling humans.

Mud Quarter 
Lower level Quarter of workers mostly miners and farmers.  This area includes many small homes, appartments, lower level taverns, workshops and warehouses.
