OngMagTo - Town of Bamf

Welcome to OngMagTo

You couldn't really call OngMagTo a town.  There are people there doing things, and milling about but most are coming or going.  You can't really call it a ruin either, there are buildings there and many of them new.  Though few well made. You couldn't call it a hovel though, there is money milling around that place that would make some much bigger settlements jealous. OngMagTo also has a sense of community, just not in any Town sort of way.  People here are thrust together based off interests.  The sisters and rangers there share a bond, a drink, and often more.  Historians, Wizards and those scholarly sorts share stories, and research, they find kindred spirits in the town library.  OngMagTo is a meeting a ground of kindred spirits, that is what it is. 

 And to us thieves its something else entirely, its a feast. Rich people with lots of distractions and little in the way of law.  OngMagTo means paradise in thief.

Location: 
Northern Crowlands.  -  North of Swordsnest just before the Northern wall of peaks.  South of Ath and Blue Star.

Government:  
The Town has no official government but many look to the town head librarian Grizabald for guidance.  The highest ranking Crow Ranger is effectively in charge.

Defenses: 
There are very few defenses to OngMagTo outside of Crow Ranger and Sisters of Selene Patrols

Trade Goods:

• OngMagTo is effectively built around Magical tourism.  The ruins of OngMagTo are mysterious, the settlement has a large magical library, and numerous magical research studies are on the site.
• Magical goods, writing, potions, research.
• The Town has multiple Inns

Aspects of The City:
Town is dominated by the ruins of the ancient Tenjini Mage Tower called the Tower of Ancients.  The Tower is old and has controlled by various empires.  Various mage groups have controlled it recently before that it was controlled by Tenjini, before that dwarves and before that a mysterious other group called Om.

Most of the settlement revolves around the library or in the transport of magical research from Swordsnest to Wizards in Ath.  There are also various archaeologists studying the Orin and other ancient Dwarven fortresses in the nearby hills.  Cloaks Inn, Old Paper Emporium and the Library are popular places for Wizards and Scholars in the settlement.
Groggs Pub & Inn is popular with Rangers, and Sisters of Selene patrolling the town for neer-do-wells.  Sisters and Rangers tend to let loose here as the restrictive covenants on the sisters in Blue Star are not in effect here.

The town is also a popular place for fugitives to try to hide from the South.
