Creatures of Bamf - Alifan-otes

Fanan are people on the world of Sorelian.  They are one of the most ancient species on the planet.  There are a variety of Fanan species that behave and think very differently.

Each fanan species has a Ilnar or a hive mind they take on different forms. 

Alfanan are one of the most prevent forms of fanan and most social.  They only take dead intelligent species as hosts for fanan.   They have hundreds of Ilnars each the center of their own tribe.


Golfanan are thought to be the oldest of the fanan.  Have only one ancient massive ilnar.  They take forest beasts as hosts.  As a rule they refuse to communicate directly with other creatures.

Olsfanan a violent fanan who sought to rule the world.   Each member was an ilnar and they did not use spores to take hosts but to create zombie like slaves.  The Olsfanan are thought to have been annihilated by the Alfanan.


Zielfanan the flying tribe is very mysterious.



Fanan are creatures that are part man but also part of the fungal hive mind.

The Fanan finds worthy specimens of other species and when those species die emits its spores over their bodies and reanimates them.  The Fanan spores are able to connect the memories of the original species back into the fanan Fungus and in turn the fanan is able to give the new fanan information and memories as needed from the collective.

The fanan are used as ambassadors between different species and the Alifan Fungus Collective.
